Unfortunately, careers and other matters of modern life can often make this a difficult task. 1 Step Away From Home provides the support that our residents and their families require, including Nutritional and Dietary Counseling services, which we are more than happy to offer.

Many of our community members at 1 Step Away From Home require some degree of health and well-being monitoring. Our Assisted Living Facility provides complimentary and customizable Assisted Living services for all our residents. By catering to the personal needs of each resident, we go just one step further to make everyone feel like they’re truly at home at 1 Step Away From Home.
CBRF CLASSES ON-SITE
Extra Support Provided
Our Assisted Living Facility provides affordable classes to those looking to learn how to properly care for their elders. They are hands on classes which will provide you with the proper certifications in CBRF training such as Medication Administration, First Aid and Choking, Fire Safety, and Standard Precautions. These classes are taught by our State approved instructor Janice West.We also have available CPR CLASSES for adults and children.
Behavioral and Mental Health
1 Step Away from Home is Family
We at 1 Step Away also accept those residents deemed to have behavior issues. Our staff includes an on-site mental therapist, besides an social worker. All staff are trained in the proper way to deal and redirect those residents.1 Step Away also offers counseling for substance abuse provided by our on-site AODA counselor.
